Stevington: The Village History was the Trust's first publication in 2001. It runs to some 430 pages including 24 in colour with an A3 map and overlay. 200 copies were printed in hard covers and 400 in paper covers. Both editions are now sold out but some copies have been available on the Amazon website in recent years.

Work is currently underway to produce a revised edition - Stevington: The Village History Revisited

This will be published later in 2021 and you can download sample pages here:

Stevington in Pictures was published in 2004 and beautifully complements the first publication. The book is a collection of nearly 500 photographs originating from the turn of the 19th Century to the present day. There is an explanatory text of some 40 pages and in all the volume amounts to 184 stunning pages in full colour. The modern photography is mostly the work of Roger Day. The Stevington Calendars

The Trust produced calendars for 2005 and 2006 illustrated mostly by photographs taken from the Stevington In Pictures publication and the 2010 calendar offered a preview of some of the images intended for inclusion in the Natural History of Stevington, published in 2011

We produced Historic Walks In Stevington in April 2007.

Beautifully ilustrated by local artists, the book places several of the most interesting local walks into an historical perspective and includes a helpful guide map for ramblers.

Copies are still available at a cost of £5.00 from Peter Hart or Roger Day or you can order a copy online by using the paypal shopping cart ... See a few Sample Pages

Stevington: The Natural History of a Bedfordshire Parish - 2015

This book was inspired by Gilbert White’s Natural History of Selborne (1788-9) The book is the fruit of a study which took over eight years’ intensive work. It was constructed in two parts: a Field Survey and a Garden Watch. The Field Survey, led by Jacqueline Gooding, aimed to record the flora and fauna in the open fields of the Parish. The Garden Watch, led by Susan Young, involved numerous householders making a weekly record of garden inhabitants and visitors over a three year period.

The book is richly illustrated with photographs taken, for the most part, by Roger Day and pen and brush illustrations by Jacqueline Gooding.  The work amounts to 344 pages in hard laminated covers. A reprint was published in 2017 which is now available for £20 plus shipping. There are many enhancements to the image quality plus a few important text changes to the first issue
